Her expertise spans corporate and project finance, SME lending, credit, enterprise risk management, strategic growth and banking transformation. As Managing Partner at Udyamsheel, she leads FinEduSheel – Learn, Empower & Succeed, driving financial literacy, entrepreneurial capacity and CSR initiatives in collaboration with BFIs and corporate partners. She brings strong leadership in building inclusive, sustainable and financially empowered enterprise ecosystems.
Ms. Sandhya Shrestha, a seasoned banking professional with over 27 years of experience in 'A' class commercial banks, brings unparalleled expertise in Credit and Risk Management. As a visionary leader, she has spearheaded significant initiatives, including the development of comprehensive risk management systems and counterparty risk rating policies. Her multifaceted roles encompassed project financing, corporate banking, SME, and retail operations. A certified financial literacy trainer, she is currently contributing to Nepal Rastra Bank, embodying dedication to professional development. Sandhya's commitment to excellence, coupled with her strategic acumen, has consistently driven organizational growth and positioned her as a trusted name in the financial sector.
Sujan Subedi is a seasoned banking executive and strategic consultant with 30+ years of leadership across Nepal’s commercial and development banking sector. As Managing Partner at Udyamsheel, he leads the UdyamStart Business Incubation and Training & Capacity Building Vertical, bringing deep expertise in banking, credit, governance, enterprise finance and executive management. His leadership also advances climate and green finance, ESRM-aligned lending, and sustainable enterprise development.
Umesh Pokharel is a project and programme evaluation expert, researcher, and banking and development professional with extensive experience in evaluation, market research, financial modelling, portfolio analysis and risk assessment. As Managing Partner at Udyamsheel, he brings strong analytical and strategic capabilities to complex assignments across finance, enterprise development and the development sector. He has led assignments for DW Akademie, IREX, ActionAid International and the International Federation of Journalists (IFJ), applying OECD/DAC evaluation principles, including a multi-country evaluation of DW Akademie’s Journalism of the Future project across Bangladesh, Pakistan, Uzbekistan and Mongolia. Umesh also served as Lead Author of the State of the Banking Industry in Nepal, commissioned by the National Banking Institute (NBI), and has led research on digital banking, AI and cybersecurity, green finance, financial inclusion, consumer protection and banking-sector consolidation. His expertise is further strengthened by specialized training in sustainable, climate and green finance, results-based climate finance, enterprise green financing and carbon markets through leading international institutions.
Kabita Devkota is a dynamic professional with over a decade of experience in program planning, management, and implementation. With a Master's in International Cooperation and Development and another in Education specializing in English, she brings a unique blend of skills to her roles. Kabita has excelled in coordinating projects for the University of Florida, overseeing activities related to women's empowerment and livestock vaccine value chains. Her proficiency extends to teaching English at the Bachelor's level and coordinating INGENAES activities in Nepal. Known for her excellent interpersonal skills, report writing, and proposal drafting, Kabita is a self-motivated individual with a proven track record in achieving results.

Holding a Nepal Bar Council License, Shreya is currently pursuing a Master's in Business and International Trade Law while having earned a Bachelor's in Business Management and Law from Kathmandu University School of Law. With a diverse professional background, including roles as an Udyamsheel Expert-Legal and Executive Officer at Nepal International ADR Center, Shreya excels in contract negotiation, legal dispute resolution, and corporate governance. Her commitment to legal excellence, coupled with a wealth of experience, positions her as a valuable asset for any organization.
